O objective deste telemóvel é criar um dispositivo amigo do ambiente. As baterias actuais são caras e perigosas para o ambiente, para além de que o processo de fabrico usa muitos recursos valiosos. A solução encontrada para resolver estes problemas foi a bio-bateria. Este tipo de bateria é amiga do ambiente e usa enzimas como catalisador para gerar electricidade a partir de hidratos de carbono (actualmente açúcar). Para usar esta bateria basta portanto encher o depósito com uma pequena quantidade de uma bebida açucarada, como por exemplo Coca-Cola. Assim que a bateria fica sem carga, os restos serão apenas oxigénio e água. As biobaterias são completamente biodegradáveis e numa única carga, tem uma potencial duração de vida, três a quatro vezes maior que uma bateria de lítio.
